Kristov Scicluna, only 21 years born and raised in Malta.
Art has always been central in his life, main reason probably being that his father is also an artist, George Scicluna, growing up Kristov would always be in his studio watching him paint while also scribbling something on a piece of paper.
This ended up being something that permanently formed part of his personality and ambitions. He is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Arts at the University of Malta after obtaining his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts, while making a career in art.
Kristov sees art as many things but believes very much in self-expression especially through things such as music, clothing, visual arts and such. Art is an excellent way to do such. In his work, he goes with Realism mixed sometimes with a hint of Surrealism. Most of his more recent work features some form of mental and emotional representation through the human figure, he feels like most of us can relate with one or another of these works as we suffer from these emotions from time to time. His work is usually in pencil or ink as Kristov feels it is the best choice to use for capturing the feel of these works.
